You can send images in public rooms and in private messages, up to 8 MB each. Every image gets an automatic check before other people see it, and the site deletes it after 24 hours. You can send only images that you have the right to share.
The rules in short
- This is an adult site. Every person in an image must be an adult who agreed to the image and to the sharing.
- The size limit is 8 MB for each image.
- An automatic check runs on every image before people see it.
- The site deletes images after 24 hours.
- In private messages, images work only after the other person accepts your message request.
- Any user can report an image with "Report image".
What you can send
Adult images are permitted here, because every user confirms an age of 18 or older. That does not mean that every image is welcome in every moment. An image that fits the room and the conversation gets a better answer than one that arrives without context.
Good practice in a public room:
- Read the room for a minute before you post.
- Match the room. The sex chat room and the adult chat room do not have the same mood.
- Do not post the same image again and again. That is flooding, and flooding is against the rules.
The guide to sexting etiquette and consent explains how to ask before you send something intimate.
Images that are banned
These images cause removal. Some of them cause an instant ban.
- Anything that involves minors, real or fictional. That includes drawings, cartoons and edited images. The site reports suspected child abuse material to NCMEC.
- Incest or family content, bestiality and toilet play. These themes are banned in images and in text.
- Private images of another person. Do not share an image that someone sent you in private. Do not share an image of an ex-partner or of any person who did not agree.
- Images that you do not have the right to share. That includes stolen photos. It also includes photos of another person that you present as yourself. Impersonation is against the rules.
- Advertising and sales. No images that sell content, subscriptions or services. No images that carry handles, links or phone numbers.
- Harassment and threats. No images that are made to frighten, shame or expose a person.
Consent comes first
Consent has two sides here.
Consent of the person in the image
If the image shows you, the decision is yours. If the image shows another person, you need the clear agreement of that person to this use. "They sent it to me" is not agreement to share it with others. If you are not sure, do not send the image.
Consent of the person who receives the image
A public room is a shared space, so keep to what the room is for. In private messages, ask first. A simple line works:
- "Can I send you a picture?"
- "Do you want to swap pictures, or keep it to text?"
If the answer is no, accept it. An unwanted image after a "no" is harassment, and the other person can report it.
How the automatic check works
When you upload an image, the site checks it before other people see it. If the image passes, it appears in the chat. If the image fails, nobody sees it. The site keeps hashes of blocked images, so a blocked image stays blocked.
The check is automatic, and human moderators handle reports. An image that passes the check can still break the rules. If a user reports it, a moderator decides. See how moderation works.
What the 24 hour deletion means
The site deletes each image after 24 hours. This keeps old images from staying on the site. It is not protection against other users. A person who sees your image can take a screenshot in one second. After that, you do not control the image.
The site also saves your IP address with an image that you upload. It keeps this for abuse handling and legal reports, and it removes the IP address after 90 days. The guide to staying private in adult chat has the full list of what the site records.
Images in private messages
The first message to a stranger is a message request. Until the other person accepts it or replies, you cannot send images. This rule stops unwanted images from strangers.
If you do not want private messages at all, open Settings in the chat. Set "Who can message me" to "nobody". The guide to private message requests explains each option.
How to report an image
- Tap the image.
- Choose "Report image".
- If the person continues, tap the username and choose Ignore.
The report goes to a moderator with the last 20 messages for context. If the image seems to show a minor, do not download it, forward it or take a screenshot of it. Report it and leave the room.
Keep your face and identifying details out
Before you send an image of yourself, do these checks.
- Keep your face out of the frame.
- Hide tattoos, birthmarks, distinctive jewelry and uniforms.
- Look at the background. Remove mail, screens, family photos and views from a window.
- Remove the location data from the file. A screenshot of the photo usually has no location data. This site removes the location data and the device data from every photo and GIF before other people can see it. Other sites and apps do not always do this.
- Do not send an image that is already on your social media. An image search can connect the two.
- Ask yourself one question: "Is it okay for me if this image stays on a stranger's phone?"
If a person pressures you to show your face or to send more, stop. Pressure is a warning sign.
Questions
Why did my image not appear in the chat?
Every image gets an automatic check before other people see it. If the image fails the check, nobody sees it. An image larger than 8 MB also does not go through. In private messages, images work only after the other person accepts your message request.
Can I delete an image after I send it?
The site deletes every image after 24 hours. Until then, people in the conversation can see it and can save it. Think before you send, because deletion from the site does not remove a copy from the phone of another person.
Can I share a picture that someone sent me in private?
No. Sharing the private images or private messages of another user is against the rules, and it can cause a ban. The person sent the image to you only. Agreement to show it to others must come from that person.
